My Name is Pastor Dave and I am the Senior Pastor here at Cloverdale Community Church. Being the pastor of a small, struggling church most certainly has its challenges. We scrape for resources.  Recruitment can be nightmarish.  And we can't hire hipster Christians to come and entertain the masses.  We're not a multitude.  We're a few and most are faithful to Christ and the Church.  Truth is, I thank my Lord and Savior for this opportunity. 

 It's been a time around CCC when we've almost been forced to come to terms with what's crucial and what's peripheral.  We've discovered strength in Christ we didn't know we had, It was there all along but we were skating.  Now that we're stumbling we know we need His strength.  We've learned in new ways how much we need the Holy Spirit to fill us.  We've been taught to trust God and not ourselves, and to constantly seek Him and trust Him. 
These are good times.  These are desperate times.  But really that's true all the time.  It's always a good time to trust God (Proverbs 3:3-5).  That's what we're doing here at CCC.  Come check us out sometime.  We're all just chicks looking to Momma Bird to feed us, while we long for the day we'll soar.
